McKinley Beach values your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what controls you have.

1. Information We Collect

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Profile and household information, including address, household relationships, and guest contact details you provide
• Booking, check-in, agreement, and account activity records
• Device and notification identifiers, crash reports, and diagnostic information used to operate and improve the service

Nearby Check-In detects assigned Bluetooth beacons on your device. When you complete a check-in, we record who checked in, the specific amenity, and the time. This attendance record identifies your location at that amenity. Nearby Check-In does not upload GPS coordinates or a continuous location history.

2. How We Use Information

• Create and maintain your account and verify household access
• Operate bookings, check-ins, documents, and private staff messages
• Send service notifications and account-related messages
• Protect service security, diagnose problems, and improve reliability

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the platform (for example, authentication, storage, notifications, and diagnostics). Community staff can access the records needed for their work according to their property permissions.

Messages with Community Staff

We store message text, photos and PDFs you choose to share, filenames and file details, participant and community identifiers, timestamps, and read status to provide private communication with community staff and conversation history. Files and messages are available to the intended member and authorized staff whose permissions cover the property. Other community members cannot access your conversation, including when staff send the same message to several members.

We use service providers to store messages and files and deliver push and email notifications. Notifications link to the conversation and omit message text, attachment filenames, and attachment contents. Temporary uploads that are not sent, and files no longer referenced by a conversation, are scheduled for automatic cleanup.

Members can use Delete Account in Profile or contact admin@mckinleybeach.app about account and data deletion. The data retention and contact provisions below also apply to Messages.

4. Data Retention

We retain information while your account is active and as required for operational, legal, and security obligations.

• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion where applicable
